The Government has no choice. It must now ban health service strikes

Junior doctors and consultants in the UK have joined forces to protest their wages via strike actions; citing a 35% increase is needed to offset the effects of inflation. Costs associated with providing cover for these strikes have already exceeded £1bn, however, if permanent raises are implemented, this will be factored into next year’s budget. The professor of Economics from the University of Buckingham suggests looking at banning extended public sector strikes.
