A critical flaw in the widely used Java software, Log4j, is causing cybersecurity concerns, with multiple big companies scrambling to fix the issue. Apple’s cloud computing service, security firm Cloudflare, and popular video game Minecraft were some of the services using Log4j. Cybersecurity firm Check Point found over 100 hacking attempts occurring per minute, while a second vulnerability was found late Tuesday. Experts worry that attackers may gain easy access to a company’s computer server, compromising the complete network.
