This reveals businesses have experienced an average of 46 known cyber attacks throughout the year, with each attack causing a loss of 9% of their revenue. The report also found that businesses will increase their cybersecurity budgets by 76% next year, despite acknowledging that they overinvested in their cybersecurity tools in the past year. Furthermore, a lack of skilled cybersecurity talent was shown to be a significant challenge.
