These medical IoT devices carry the biggest security risks

Around 48% of nurse call systems and 30% of infusion pumps, used in the healthcare sector, are operating with unpatched software vulnerabilities, according to cybersecurity firm Armis. The company also found that 19% of medical IoT units run on unsupported operating systems. The healthcare sector has seen a 31% increase in cyber threat activities in Q1 2021 compared to the previous quarter, with unprotected devices adding to the risk.
