This devious malware will let hackers restore deleted cookies and hijack your Google account
Lumma’s latest malware version is capable of restoring expired Google cookies, enabling access to a victim’s Google account. Cybersecurity researchers from Hudson Rock identified the dark web advert for the malware, which charges $1,000 per month. While Google has not commented, Lumma claims to have bypassed any Google restrictions. Another infostealer, Rhadamanthys, appeared to have similar cookie-restoring capabilities, prompting speculation of a security vulnerability.
