Thousands of hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack

Over 6,000 appointments and procedures at major London hospitals have been postponed due to a cyber attack on June 3. The attack primarily targeted pathology services of two NHS trusts, with services still operating at 54% capacity. Despite this, urgent and emergency services remained functional. Additionally, stolen data from the attack has since been published online, prompting the NHS to set up a helpline for people impacted.
