Thousands of hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack
Almost 5,000 outpatient appointments and 1,400 pre-planned procedures at several London NHS trusts have been postponed following a June 3 ransomware attack. Some services are near normal levels, but pathology services are at 54% capacity. The NHS is urging O blood type donations to help with the fallout. NHS England confirmed that patient data stolen in the attack has been published online.
