Thousands of NHS computers ‘still vulnerable to hackers’

Almost 12,000 NHS computers may be at risk of cyberattacks due to outdated operating systems. Health Minister Will Quince acknowledged that over 11,600 NHS computers still used outdated Windows XP and Windows 7 systems, which Microsoft no longer provides cybersecurity support for, making them highly susceptible to attacks.
