Threat actors abuse Google Ads to distribute info-stealing malware: Report

Cyber attackers are using Google Ads to distribute a version of CPU-Z tool that in turn delivers Redline, a potent malware able to steal passwords, browsing data, and sensitive data from cryptocurrency wallets. Users are tricked into downloading a malicious script that installs the malware. Users are advised to confirm the authenticity of a site and its domain before downloading files and to use adblockers.
