Ticketmaster customer data accessed in cyber attack – reports

Hackers have stolen the personal details of over 500 million Ticketmaster customers and are demanding a ransom of around £400,000 to prevent the data being sold. The attack, reportedly by the ShinyHunters group, is being investigated by authorities in the US and Australia. The hackers gained access to the names, addresses, phone numbers, and partial payments details of 560 million clients. The company has not confirmed the breach.
