Ticketmaster hit by cyber attack that compromised user data

Ticketmaster’s parent company Live Nation disclosed a cyber attack that compromised user data. The breach was identified through unauthorized activity in a third-party cloud database on 20 May. Live Nation initiated an investigation after a criminal offered the company’s user data for sale on the dark web. No financial or health data were reportedly stolen.
