Too many healthcare employees would share sensitive data

A recent Dell survey found that 68 percent of employees in healthcare organizations would share sensitive information under certain circumstances. While some situations seemed legitimate, such as being directed by management or sharing with an authorized person, others were more concerning. The survey also revealed that employees engage in risky data security practices, such as using public Wi-Fi, personal email accounts, and public cloud services. Despite this, the majority of employees recognize their responsibility to protect confidential information.
