siteadmin June 29, 2023

A cyberattack on the University of Manchester has compromised the sensitive data of about 1.1 million National Health Service (NHS) patients, including trauma and terrorism victims. The compromised NHS data was collected for research purposes, and the incident also impacted students and alumni whose personal data, including names and contact details, were accessed. A criminal entity reportedly conducted the attack, however, to date, there’s no evidence of bank or payment details being exposed.
