Trellix report highlights new programming languages in malware development

Cybersecurity company Trellix has released its November 2023 CyberThreat Report, which highlights the ongoing collaboration between ransomware groups and nation-backed threat entities, the increasing use of lesser-known programming languages for malware, and the development of generative AI tools by cybercriminals. The report also found that geopolitical threats had surged by 50% in the past six months due to conflicts in specific regions.
