Two more hospitals struck by ransomware, in California and Indiana

Two hospitals in the US have been targeted by ransomware attacks. San Diego’s Alvarado Hospital Medical Center confirmed it had been targeted by a cyber attack but stated it had not paid the ransom. A hospital in Indiana proactively powered down all computer systems to prevent the spread of malware in an incident last Wednesday.
