UK public increasingly concerned over NHS data sovereignty

While 59% of respondents of a VMware study trust the NHS to handle personal health data, most respondents want data stored in the UK and reject artificial intelligence analysis, a VMware study found. Of those who want data stored in the UK, 39% believe it will comply with data protection regulations, 22% don’t trust foreign organisations with their data, and 21% believe it will be less susceptible to cyber-attacks.
