UnityPoint Health System hit with cyberattack affecting 16,000 patients
Wisconsin-based UnityPoint Health has announced that it suffered a cyberattack that may have exposed the personal information of around 16,000 patients. The attack was a phishing attempt on staff email accounts, and although no reports of identity fraud or theft have been made, the organization is advising affected individuals to take precautionary measures.
