Updated GuLoader, DarkGate malware strains emerge

The GuLoader and DarkGate malware strains have undergone continuous improvements, despite minimal functional modifications since their discovery in 2019. GuLoader now features advanced obfuscation techniques for better evasion, while DarkGate has had an execution chain update and improved RDP password exfiltration capabilities. Trellix researchers stated that the rapid adaptability and evasion methods of these threats indicate the sophistication of modern malware.
