US and UK blame North Korea for WannaCry

The US and UK have officially attributed the WannaCry malware attack to North Korea. This is the first time North Korea has been officially blamed for the cyberattack, which hit 300,000 computers in 150 countries earlier this year, causing billions in damage. The National Cyber Security Centre stated that the North Korean Lazarus hacking group was highly likely to have committed the attack that affected individual users, banks and hospitals worldwide.
