US healthcare giant Henry Schein hit by second major cyberattack

Healthcare company Henry Schein has experienced another ransomware attack, this time by BlackCat. The company’s ecommerce platform and several apps were temporarily taken offline. The firm managed to restore the ecommerce platform for US customers, but are still focusing on fully recovering applications for Canadians and Europeans. BlackCat claims to have stolen 35TB of data which will be released incrementally. No response has been made by Henry Schein to these claims.
