Users of government websites have complained about being redirected to porn sites, prompting a cybersecurity investigation. Malware downloaded on government systems and poor cyber hygiene are said to be behind the unexpected redirections, with some systems used for government sites found logged into unauthorised websites. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has been called in to probe the matter.
