VA, VHA, Verizon partner to increase rural veterans’ telehealth access

The US Department of Veterans Affairs is set to provide broadband connectivity to veterans living in remote areas across the country, increasing access to telehealth and virtual care services. Partnering with the Veterans Health Administration’s National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation, Verizon Public Sector and others, the move aims to overcome internet availability issues often faced by rural veterans.
