Vet firm CVS hit by cyber-attack

Veterinary group CVS has experienced a cybersecurity attack, causing significant disruption, particularly to its UK operation. The group, which operates approximately 500 global practices and employs over 9,000 people, acted promptly to secure its IT services. However, some systems still aren’t functioning optimally, and there’s potential risk to personal information. The incident has accelerated CVS’ plans to shift its practice management system and related IT infrastructure to the cloud.
