Vietnamese Hackers Target U.K., U.S., and India with DarkGate Malware
Vietnamese cybercriminals have been linked to cyberattacks leveraging the DarkGate malware against targets in the UK, US and India, according to cybersecurity firm WithSecure. The malware, offered as a service, is mostly delivered via phishing schemes and scripts, with LinkedIn and Google Drive among the infection vectors. WithSecure noted the criminals use a similar modus operandi for other malware such as Ducktail, LOBSHOT, and RedLine Stealer.
