Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust dealing with aftermath of ‘cyber attack’

Walsall Manor Hospital suffered a cyber attack on 10 March. The full extent of the breach is currently unknown, and the hospital is working with the National Cyber Security Centre to investigate the incident. The hospital’s chief information officer stressed that the incident was contained and that patients should remain vigilant. They were also urged to contact the hospital if they have any concerns.
