WEDI asks HHS to ensure info exchange capabilities after cyberattacks

WEDI’s suggestions include proactive audits, voluntary security audit programmes, developing minimum standards for third-party accreditation entities, and creating a new agency for National Cybersecurity Policy. WEDI also proposed annual nationwide cyber preparedness drills and improved data exchange processes between healthcare providers and insurance companies.
