Wellstar Health adds secure check-in through Epic

Clear’s HIPAA-compliant mobile check-in system has been successfully integrated with the Epic electronic health records of Wellstar Health System. The move is aimed at reducing waiting room times and improving overall patient experience. The technology, which confirms patients’ identities through a selfie taken at a kiosk, will be available for use by other healthcare organizations using Epic.
