What the AT&T phone records data breach means for you

Cybercriminals have stolen phone records of nearly all AT&T customers, impacting approximately 110 million people. The stolen data includes phone numbers called and texted, numbers of calls and texts, and call lengths for a six-month period. The attack, linked to a recent Snowflake data breach, may allow criminals to target individuals with sophisticated phishing and social engineering attacks, and even approximate the location of AT&T users. AT&T clarified that content of calls or texts was not stolen.
