Who are the Russian cyber gang Qilin?

Russian cyber criminals known as Qilin attacked Synnovis, a pathology services provider partnered with several UK hospitals, with ransomware, leading to cancellations of operations, failure to carry out blood transfusions, and other disruptions. Qilin, which operates through the dark web, has a history of attacking global organisations. Authorities are working with the National Cyber Security Centre to analyse the impact of the attack.
