Why Northwestern Is Using Qventus’ New AI Assistant

Patient flow automation start-up Qventus has released an AI assistant intended to carry out routine administration tasks for healthcare staff to free up time for patient care. The tool was developed in collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, Ardent Health and Allina Health and integrates with electronic health records (EHRs). Northwestern cited clinical staff commitment to administrative tasks as a reason behind the tool’s deployment, which it hopes will reduce staff burnout and high costs.
