WRU: Data of thousands of members leaked in cybersecurity breach

The personal information of almost 70,000 Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) supporters’ club members has reportedly been leaked in a cybersecurity breach. The WRU stated that some of the data was duplicated and payment information was not compromised. Tech website Cybernews suggested the exposed information could be used for phishing and doxxing attacks. The WRU confirmed an investigation into the breach is ongoing.
