Cybersecurity firm Proofpoint has discovered new malware called ZenRAT, which targets Windows operating systems. The threat is delivered via a website that impersonates popular password manager Bitwarden. The malware gathers system information including IP addresses and software data, and avoids operating from certain countries. Proofpoint advises users to maintain updated security software and be aware of invalid digital certificates.
